Tre Bussey Signs At Keravnos
Defending champion Keravnos Strovolou (Division A) landed 26-year old American guard Tre Bussey (190-78kg-91, college: Georgia South). He played most recently at Apoel(Division A). In 24 games he averaged 14.5ppg, 4.7rpg and 4.0apg last season. Bussey helped them to make it to the Supercup final. It was a very successful season in his career as he was awarded All-Cyprus League Co-Guard of the Year, selected to 1st Team and selected to All-Imports Team. Bussey also played 12 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he had 15.0ppg, 3.8rpg and 4.4apg.The previous (15-16) season Bussey played at Bashkimi (SuperLeague) in Kosovo. In 25 games he recorded 14.8ppg, 3.4rpg, 3.7apg and 1.0spg. He contributed to his team making it to the semifinals. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to All-Kosovo League 1st Team and to the All-Star Game. Bussey also played 14 games in Balkan League where he got impressive 15.2ppg, 4.4rpg, 4.5apg and 2.1spg. Impressive indeed as was selected to All-Balkan League 2nd Team.Three years ago he was drafted by Idaho Stampede (D-League) in first round (7th overall).Bussey attended Georgia Southern University until 2014 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.His team was regular season runner-up in Southern Conference South Division in 2012.Bussey has played previously professionally in NBA (Utah Jazz) and NBA G League (Salt Lake City Stars).
